Rem Jackson is Vice-President of Professional Development and a Founder of Classroom Connect. His current responsibilities include the production of Classroom Connect's national conferences and professional development training and consulting. Previously he managed the company's customer service, operations, sales, telemarketing, corporate web site development, and the development of web-delivered staff development training. Mr. Jackson was the project manager for the original Classroom Connect Newsletter and served on the team that developed the Classroom Connect concept in 1994.

An entertaining and informative presenter, Rem speaks to thousands of educators every year on Internet-related topics at national and regional conferences. He pioneered the Classroom Connect Seminar Series, which has been delivered to educators both in the United States and internationally. In addition, he developed the “Becoming an Internet Trainer” seminar. He has personally trained over 15,000 educators. He speaks frequently at in-service programs and conference keynote addresses where his ability to guide participants through complex technical issues has helped teachers, administrators, media specialists, technology coordinators and other educators more easily integrate the Internet into their curriculum.

Prior to his responsibilities at Classroom Connect, Rem served as Executive Vice-President of Wentworth Worldwide Media, a Lancaster, PA company that created the Classroom Connect concept. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Rem is delighted to be able to work directly with educators and students to bring the classroom into the global community.

"I have traveled all over the world and I have seen teachers using the Internet to change the way they teach. Often, they start slowly, but soon they find themselves swept away by the remarkable opportunities they are presented with every day. There are momentous changes taking place right in front of us. This is an exciting time to be alive."
